Goods Delivery Policy

  1. Small Size Product Delivery

OpenInspiration offers customers free delivery countrywide in New Zealand if the weight of products is less than 5 kg.

Please allow 3 – 7 days for delivery for small size item from receipt of payments, depending on your location.

  1. Large Size Furniture Delivery

Before placing order, you need to confirm/ consider the followings. Firstly, furniture you want to purchase will fit in the area you have chosen for it. Secondly, doors, stairwells, and other entrance ways including lifts are wide enough to allow for access.

Most of furniture come flat-packed and require assembly. In regards to our display cabinet, the assembly is complicated. We can help customers to do assembly and organize the delivery for the assembled cabinets. However, some cabinets involve lots of fragile components, such as glass doors, mirrors, and etc., which are hazards during transportation; therefore, flatpack delivery is required. Customers need to assemble the products by themselves or ask local handyman to do the assembly. Please allow 10 – 15 days for delivery for large size furniture from receipt of payments, depending on your location.

  1. Terms and Conditions for Delivery

We provide door-to-door delivery service into your premises if it is safe to transport products without any chance of damaging them and safe for our delivery team to handle without injuring themselves.

It is customer’s responsibility to inform us at the time of purchase if the goods are to be delivered upstairs or downstairs and extra charges will be generated.

We may not be able to provide an exact delivery time but will make a courtesy call in advance. It is customer’s responsibility to be home to accept the goods upon delivery.

The delivery service does not include the removal of any packing that goods may come in.

If you believe there is damage to the products you have order or the incorrect items have been delivered, please contact us as soon as possible and we will work with your to arrange a replacement, refund or credit. Damage items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

We will be happy to exchange your goods for goods of equivalent value if the goods have not been delivered due to factors outside our control. You will be responsible for all transportation costs, but we will do our best to minimize the costs.
